This evening, QFC with automatic aid from Squad 45 (Clinton) and Pumper-Tender 46 (Annandale) was alerted for smoke in a residence on Spring Hill Road in Franklin Twp (Box 91-02). Engine 91 responded on dispatch with the Thursday night duty crew and found a furnace issue upon arrival after an investigation. Once confirmed, the assignment was held to Squad 45 and QFC units. Additional QFC units responding were Ladder 91, Rescue 91, Tenders 91-1 and 91-2 and Ambulances 91-51 and Ambulances 91-52 with 18 members. Companies were available in 30 minutes. ...
